Please join us for lunch in Sitka for our Membership Meeting on November 16th, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM, at the Aspen Hotel Raven (210 Lake St, Sitka, AK 99835-7701) to discuss ongoing business and the status of our continued efforts to rectify your jobsite issues.

Local 71 continues to fight for our Pioneer Homes workers through formal arbitration to get your jobs back. If you previously worked at the Pioneer Home or are still working there but are unrepresented due to State actions to reissue your contract, this meeting is for you.

We are actively engaged in several workplace safety investigations and representation of health-related jobsite hazard & exposure reports. If you are concerned about your workplace safety or workplace rights, this meeting is for you.

Our mission is to represent YOU. Come discuss these details with us in person. Hear what we’re doing for our Members and tell us what we need to know. You are Alaska’s frontline workers, and we need to hear from you immediately to best represent you.
