More about Peggy
Peggy is a fourth generation Juneau resident who still lives in the town she
was born and raised in. Her great grandfather was Richard T. Harris the
founder of Juneau.
Peggy is married and is mother of five children and
grandmother of five grandchildren. Three
of her children are presently serving in the military.
Her oldest son is in the Army while her youngest son and daughter are
serving in the Marines.
Peggy's hobbies include her favorite indoor
activities such as quilting, crocheting, knitting , and reading.
Prior to coming to Local 71/Laborers 942, Peggy was
in Arizona with her husband who attended
Yavapai College and later became a
gunsmith.
Peggy joined the Local 71 staff January 27, 1999.
Since 1984, Peggy has worked for the State of Alaska in the
accounting and secretarial fields.
