Dear Public Employees Local 71 Brothers and Sisters,

Please join me in welcoming Kyle Perry to our team serving you as the Northern Region Business Representative starting today! Many of you know Kyle through his service as a Local 71 Steward at the Fairbanks International Airport or have met him at our meetings, and now he will be representing us in the Northern Region office. Kyle has been an asset as an involved member, and we are thrilled to add him to the Local 71 team.

Kyle grew up in Fairbanks and has a lifelong understanding of the benefits of union membership and experience in labor leadership. He has a proven track record of conscientious work and dedication to public service, and extensive experience in teambuilding and labor relations. His parents each retired with thirty years of state service, and Kyle has served in leadership positions on the Fairbanks Central Labor Council, as Secretary Treasurer for Fairbanks Joint Crafts Council, and Recording Secretary, Examining Committee Member, and Officer of Local 375. Kyle has demonstrated savvy in negotiations and representation, and cares deeply about your workplace rights.

Kyle starts with us June 13th, and he has my full confidence that there will be a seamless transition for you, our members. Kyle has the experience and knowledge to step right in. He is a known commodity with your employer and in our community, and he is a team player who is always looking out for our rights on the job. He will be making job site visits this summer and be available at our Local 71 Fairbanks BBQ on July 22nd at Pioneer Park. Until then, don’t hesitate to contact our office.
