Longest Serving Anchorage School District Employee is Local 71 Member

ANCHORAGE, AK--- Congratulations to Dennis Shell – on his 50 years of continuous service.
Dennis Shell is the longest serving employee at the Anchorage School District (ASD) with fifty years continuous service as a custodian at Dimond High School, and he is a Local 71 Member.
On Friday, March 1st, 2019, Dennis was honored by his coworkers for his service, which started in 1969, while he was still a student at Dimond High School. In fact, they were able to find his original leave slip from 1969, submitted so he could attend his high school graduation.
